Music and Dance Performance 2019

On the Tuesday of Easter, 30/4/2019, at the packed Municipal Theater of Naoussa, the Environment and Culture Group "Arapitsa" presented its annual music and dance performance entitled "Mesopelaga armenizo...." dedicated to the sea. Young and old dancers, guided by their teacher G. Pipilas, took the audience on a journey with dances and songs to the islands and coastal areas of our Homeland (Crete, Ionian Islands, Dodecanese, Cyclades, Evia, Ikaria, Smyrna-Erythraea, Sylivria and Constantinople). The dances were accompanied, in music and song, by an amazing musical group with violin, lute, guitar, double bass and santouri. The music was composed by Theologis Michelis and the singing was by the wonderful voice of Maria Anamaterou.

Honored with their presence were His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Panteleimon, the Mayor Mr. Koutsoyiannis, the Deputy Mayor for Culture Mr. Valsamidis, the Regional Councilor Mr. Telligiannidis, Municipal Councilors, representatives of the Associations and the media of our city, parents of the dancers and friends of the group.
