"Arapitsa" in Crete

A 23-member delegation of the Environment and Culture Group "Arapitsa", invited by the Greek Women's High School of Sitia, visited Sitia, Crete from 1-5/8/2016 and participated together with the Greek Women's High School of Sitia in two-day events that took place at the archaeological site of the "Kazarma" Castle. They took part in the project "The Roads of Love" and danced dances from Naoussa, Almopia-Thrace and Evros-Ant.Romilia. The audience flooded the venue on both nights and was honored with his presence by the Mayor of Sitia, Mr. Th. Paterakis.

On the sidelines of the events, the members of the mission visited the Vai palm grove, the Toplou monastery, the Sitia Folklore Museum, Agios Nikolaos and Heraklion.
