Traditional wedding

The Environment and Culture Group "Arapitsa", participating in the Carnival events of the Municipality of Naoussa entitled "today a wedding is taking place...", organized on Sunday 13/3/2016 the traditional wedding, in collaboration with the Cultural Center of Chamezio, Sitia, Crete. Part of the traditional wedding, where the groom was Cretan and the bride was from Naoussa, was performed at the Municipal Theater of Naoussa due to heavy rain.

After the "ceremony" there were dances by the Cretan band, "Arapitsa", the Vlach Folklore Association and "Pyrsos". The Mayor Mr. Koutsoyiannis, the President of the Board of Directors Mr. Apostolou, the Deputy Mayors Messrs. Mantsios and Dangas, the Consul General of the United States, regional and municipal councilors and a crowd of people who filled the hall of the Municipal Theater to capacity.
