Event on "Severe Weather Events"

On Saturday 28/3/2015, in the packed hall of the "Vetlans" Cultural Center, the "Arapitsa" Environment and Culture Group, in collaboration with the "Aristotle" Cultural Society and the Volos Astronomy and Space Society (Naoussa branch), organized an event-speech on the topic: "Severe weather phenomena: Contemporary trends". The speaker was the Naoussa professor of Dynamic Meteorology and Weather Modification at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Mr. Theodoros S. Karakostas. Mr. Karakostas gave an amazing speech and captivated the audience, who watched him until the end with undiminished interest.

The event was honored with their presence by the Deputy Mayor Mr. Chr. Paschoula and the former Mayor Mr. Tasos Karabatzos.
